My Ai tool tip of the day is NotebookLM by Google

I spend a lot of my time looking into new tools for Ai and try to use as many as I can, although a lot of them are development specific.
This product is fantastic and FREE! (although you can extend usage with subscription but for most people the free tier is ample)
NotebookLM is Google’s innovative AI-first tool for research and content creation, transforming your notes, PDFs (500k word limits!), videos, and web clips into interactive “notebooks.”
You can upload sources, and it auto-generates summaries, study guides, timelines, FAQs, and even audio overviews and its like having a personal research assistant that “talks” your sources back to you in a podcast-style chat which is the feature I love.
Its Ideal for anyone juggling info overload, it excels at connecting dots across docs for deeper insights and lets you question based on exact sources.
One of my use cases involves getting any LLM to direct me to latest research in arxiv.org about various subjects – I then import the links to the documents into NotebookLM and find navigating through huge amounts of data really enjoyable. The podcasts are awesome. I also love the way you can add notes to the notebook from responses in the chat function – really handy.
I think its amazing honestly, try it out today and let me know what you use it for. You can find it here.
